Joanna de Leon is the co-owner and clinical director. She has always enjoyed meeting new people and learning their stories. Every individual has a journey that is uniquely theirs and Joanna’s passion for understanding the challenges and triumphs of the human spirit is what ultimately led her to pursue a career in mental health therapy. Her goal for Relevé Counseling is to bring together a team of dedicated individuals who share her desire to leave a lasting and positive impact on the lives of the people they serve.
Joanna has over 15 years of experience in community mental health working with adults, adolescents, children, and families. She is trained in various treatment modalities and has extensive experience working with individuals who have difficulty regulating emotions, self-harming behaviors, and chronic suicidal thoughts. Joanna has significant experience in working with children and families who are involved in the foster care system and has years of experience in crisis intervention.
Joanna utilizes an eclectic, solution-focused approach that allows individuals to work on their personal growth and achieve their goals. She strives to provide a warm, empathetic environment in order to make an impactful connection with her clients.
