Sarah Smith
Intern
Sarah has always had a passion for helping others, a trait that began in childhood when she often found herself resolving conflicts among friends. Her interest in mental health was sparked in high school, leading her to pursue a degree in psychology at Murray State University, where she is now completing her final semester.
During her practicum at Tree of Hope in Mayfield, Kentucky, Sarah gained hands-on experience in client-counselor interactions. She learned that each client’s journey is unique and requires a personalized approach. Sarah is committed to understanding the root causes of mental health challenges to provide the most effective support.
Outside of her studies, Sarah enjoys spending time with friends and family, whether it’s bowling, visiting theme parks, or simply watching a TV show together. She also loves discovering new music, with current favorites including Lauren Spencer Smith, Tate McRae, Lewis Capaldi, and Sadie Jean.
