She/Her
Rachel Wishop is a dedicated therapist committed to helping clients build on their strengths and achieve meaningful change.
A Stateline local and Hononegah High School graduate, she has experience working with adults, teens, and marginalized populations in settings including substance use treatment, crisis response, and trauma recovery. Rachel’s approach is person-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed, drawing on motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients set goals and develop practical coping skills. She strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered.
Rachel has a special interest in supporting college students, women, and the LGBTQIA+ community, and is passionate about working with those who may not always feel seen or heard. Outside of work, she enjoys reading - especially classics like Pride and Prejudice - hiking, and keeping up with movies and pop culture. Rachel also loves vegetable gardening; growing up on a family farm instilled in her a love for nature and the outdoors.
Rachel is excited to support clients in the Rockford area as they navigate life’s challenges and pursue their personal goals.
